About Gary

I love this sport. I started bowling when I was 9 years old. I use to save my lunch money so I could bowl a couple of games after my dad finished his league. I still love hearing the rumble of the ball and the crash of the pins. While I was in high school I worked at Spring Branch Lanes on the corner of Bingle road and Long Point in Spring Branch. When I finished high school in 1975 I went to work for Bowling and Billiard Supplies. There I learned a little about everything regarding the bowling and billiard business. Eventually I opened my own shop on August 1st, 1984 on FM 1960W between Kuykendahl and Veterans Memorial. I opened the shop here inside Copperfield Bowl on December 1st 2003. In other words, I have been drilling bowling balls in Houston for 40 years! I still love the crash of the pins and counted a tremendous blessing to come to a job that I love every day.
